Bangluru: Karnataka Chief Minister DK Shivakumar has said that his Government continues to stand firmly with farmers.
“Under the leadership of the Chief Minister Shri D K Shivakumar, ₹600 crore has been released from the revolving fund without waiting for the Government of India’s release, taking the total allocation for procurement support to ₹1,356 crore,” he said.
“This timely intervention will strengthen the procurement of ragi, jowar and paddy, ensuring that farmers receive the support they deserve,” Karnataka CM further said.
He said that the Government of Karnataka remains committed to protecting livelihoods and building a prosperous agricultural future.
