Panaji: Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant on Tuesday inaugurated the Energy4Good Technology Centre, established under the CSR initiative of Siemens Energy India Limited at Government Polytechnic, Bicholim.
The centre is the first of its kind at a government polytechnic in Goa and aims to align technical education with industry requirements.
It will provide students with opportunities to gain practical experience and develop competencies that can help them prepare for employment and improve their career prospects.
The inauguration was attended by Shir. Bhushan Savoikar, Director, Directorate of Technical Education; Smt. Pramodini Naik of Government Polytechnic Bicholim; Beena Dixit, Vice President -CSR, Siemens Energy India Limited; and other dignitaries.
